LOS ANGELES INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (LAX)

TEMPORARY SOUTH COMPLEX RUNWAY 25L/7R CLOSURE

January 12, 2019 at 1 PM to January 13, 2019 at 8 AM

LAX will temporarily close the south outboard runway (25L/7R) to perform runway maintenance for 19 hours on Saturday, January 12th at 1 PM through Sunday, January 13th at 8 AM.

Persons living near LAX may notice a change in aircraft flight activity and noise during this temporary closure as aircraft that normally land on the south outboard runway (25L/7R) will instead land on the south inboard runway (25R/7L). In addition, the FAA may deviate from Over-Ocean Operations at LAX during this closure on Sunday, January 13th between 12 AM and 6:30 AM due to the limited runway availability for Aircraft Design Group VI aircraft as mentioned in another notice.

Thank you for your understanding and patience during this temporary runway closure.
